Erica Fortescue is an International Coaching Federation–certified coach and consultant specializing in executive functioning skills for leaders, innovators, and purpose-driven organizations.
About
Erica's approach is grounded in neuroscience and positive psychology, with a strong emphasis on supporting neurodiversity in the workplace. She especially enjoys working with clients who are both exceptionally capable and navigating real challenges—helping them find structure, flow, and momentum.
Her coaching focuses on time management, prioritization, delegation, communication, and systems that enable greater productivity and intentionality—ultimately freeing leaders to experience more satisfaction in both work and life. With nonprofit clients, she also works on board recruitment, fundraising, programmatic growth, and building high-performing teams.
With over 20 years of experience, Erica has guided two nationwide nonprofits through rapid growth. She has held senior leadership positions in development, communications, and program strategy. She has attended close to a hundred board meetings and designed and facilitated many of them.
Erica also launched an award-winning creative agency that developed multi-million-dollar branding and communications campaigns for 50+ clients, including ESPN, Google, and the Truth Initiative. Her expertise in creative collaboration has been featured in the New York Times and Forbes, and recognized by awards from Fast Company and Ad Age.
She has taught at MIT’s Sloan School of Management and spoken at national conferences for Fast Company, Forbes, the American Library Association and the Learning and the Brain Society.
Today, she focuses on individual coaching and meeting facilitation for purpose-driven leaders across the nonprofit and corporate sectors, including Greenlight Fund, Google.org, Apple, Disney, and NPR.
Erica holds a B.A. from Brown University, an M.Ed. from Stanford University, and an International Business Certificate from New York University. She has completed extensive post-graduate training at UC Berkeley and the ADD Coach Academy.
